Director of Operations

The Director of Operations is responsible for planning developing and managing short and longterm strategies for warehouse inventory management logistics customer service data management SOP creation staffing and labor budgeting and hitting KPIs with the operational departments.
This role will direct all operational activities as well as oversee daily operations and report directly to the CEO.
Reporting Departments WarehouseLogisticsDistribution Inventory Management Customer Service Supplier Management Data ManagementIT Implement quality control standards and trainings to ensure all boxes leaving the building are up to company standards Document automate and communicate best practices through SOPs in reporting department Develop and initiate process improvement plans for projects and departments to achieve department goals Execute on customer experience initiatives recommended by marketing and sales Maintaining a fun work environment in the West Jordan Office Warehouse by rewarding accomplishments provide feedback privately frequently discussing company values and creating road maps for your staff.

Create companywide operations execution calendar to better plan for seasonal business Host daily team problem solving call Develops plans for efficient use of materials equipment and employee resources Negotiate rates with shippers and suppliers in the warehouse Reviews costs and makes changesrecommendations to enhance gross margin on box supplies Develop and maintain an effective organization through the selection training mentoring professional development KPI accountability and review of all employees outside sales and marketing.
Assist with preparing the annual plan including budget profit projections capital and staffing requirements Oversee the delegation of assignments and duties to employees Recommend HR policies and bring to attention of CEO Participates in company marketing and sales efforts to advise on operation perspective Act as Project Manager for company initiatives within operational departments Assist with recruitment and interviewing of prospective employees Ensures assigned facilities have the resources necessary to meet company goals and objectives Implement scanning system that records all items in and out of the warehouse Implement robust inventory system that accurately reports inventory in the warehouse and in rd party warehouses Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED minimum Bachelors Degree preferred Minimum to years related experience andor training or an equivalent combination of education and experience years of management experience Experience andor knowledge of storage distribution and shipment of food grade items preferred Experience with both inbound and outbound international shipments preferred Knowledge of labor management systems shipping systems accounting systems and CRM systems PC literate with experience with Excel Slack Trello Ability to read analyze and interpret financial reports technical procedures or governmental regulations Ability to write reports business correspondence procedure manuals and KPIs Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees managers customers and suppliers.
Ability understand and execute based on PL Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form Skill Requirements Physical Requirements Eligibility Requirements Salary Benefits Fulltime Job Location Opening available in.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
