Drapery and Roman Shade Workroom Assistant
full time positions and one part time position open.
Generally shifts start around and end around pm Monday through Friday.
We do offer some flexibility to accommodate school schedules etc.
We are a small family owned and operated business.
We work right alongside you and we dont expect anything from our people that we ourselves cant deliver.
We try to make work feel relaxed and casual.
After initial training you will generally be a self starter and self paced with occasional coaching.
Hourly pay and raises are based on skill set quality speed and accuracy.
Inexperienced starts at hourly but after you are eligible for your first raise.
Starting pay for experienced people depends on skill level.
Drapery and roman shade workroom assistants do most steps of manufacturing of drapery roman shades and other window treatments.
We are not an assembly line workroom.

html Requirements Ability to lift lbs regularly Ability to stand for long periods of time ability to sit for long periods of time Ability to read work orders read written instructions and actively listen to verbal instructions in English.
We currently lack the ability to accommodate translate into other languages at this time.
Critical thinking skills with the ability to adapt to change quickly Ability to read rulers and measuring tapes Basic math skills addition subtraction multiplication and division Ability willingness to work overtime a few times a year Ability to get along with a variety of personalities An eye for detail detail oriented Preferred Qualifications Preference will go to those with industrial sewing machine experience however we are more than willing to train the right candidate.
Basic sewing knowledge home sewing basic fabric knowledge etc is a plus Covid Precautions We require masks and prefer vaccination.
We disinfect sanitize daily.
We generally do not allow customers delivery drivers other nonemployees in the production area and there are generally fewer than people in the building at a time.
Generally speaking we also follow social distancing when possible.
