ADOLESCENT DAY TREATMENT ACADEMIC FACILITATOR

Job Description
West Ridge Academy s Day Treatment Program offers adolescent clients an opportunity to receive mental and behavioral health treatment in both an academic and clinical setting during the day time hours. The Day Treatment Academic Facilitator is responsible to oversee and tutor students during the school portion of treatment, and to also attend and provide assistance during clinical and recreational group hours.
Responsibilities
Coordinates with client s home school to make sure clients are immediately working on needed academic courses while in treatment.
Responsible to oversee a classroom of 5-14 students working on online courses and to provide academic instruction on an individual basis.
Work with therapists, recreational therapists, and other staff to ensure the academic and clinical progress of clients. This includes attending and helping with daily clinical and recreational groups.
Ensures that credits earned while in treatment transfer back to appropriate home school.
Maintains timely, accurate, and professionally written documentation of all academic and other student and family interaction.
Willingly fulfills other responsibilities as necessary when assigned by the Day Treatment Therapist.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree preferred, but not required.
Previous professional experience as a tutor, classroom aide, or within the school system.
Previous experience working with adolescents, especially within the mental health field, preferred.
Wide range of knowledge regarding basic secondary education core curriculum materials, such as math and English.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
