ISCO is now hiring a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator at our Salt Lake City/West Jordan facility with prior hands-on warehouse/distribution experience. The Shipping/Receiver is responsible for shipping and receiving polyethylene pipe and fittings from vendors, and other ISCO pipe yards; this would include packing and loading customer orders of piping, valves, and fusion equipment. To ensure the best delivery and timely shipments, will verify deliveries are loaded in the correct sequence; that the correct items and quantities are loaded damage-free and secured; handles yard storage while frequently outdoors; must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and still meet deadlines while completing tasks accurately. Position will also be responsible for daily cycle counts and receiving of product or equipment from vendors. Also, responsible for scheduling freight liners for out-going shipments. Must be able to get projects completed and shipped on time per customer orders. Heavy lifting, use of forklift and the ability to safely and properly palletize materials for shipment are required.
Field Technician Description
This position will be working as a field technician to fabricate and fuse HDPE plastic pipe out in the field at customer job sites; serving the petrochemical market in the gulf coast region- work heavy field service role. The applicant should be able to: troubleshoot and repair small industrial equipment and generators, experience with electrical circuits a plus, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic / pneumatic systems is strongly desired. Pipe fusion or welding experience preferred. Ability to work independently and travel with frequent overnight stays is required.
Essential Duties:
Reads and interprets blueprints, product drawings and pic ticket orders to determine materials, tools and equipment needed to complete work.
Fabricates and assembles product per specifications.
Follows quality control procedures to ensure fabricated product meets customer specifications.
Maintains accurate records of materials used on 'ticket; locates and pulls required materials in inventory.
Maintains clean work area and equipment; follows safety procedures concerning use of equipment and materials to maintain safe working conditions.
Operates ISCO's fusion and fast fusion equipment, cranes and forklifts.
Utilizes a variety of hand tools, saws and cutting equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Shipping/Receiving Position Requirements
Forklift experience required. Prior management or leadership experience strongly desired. Familiarity with pic orders, Fed Ex and UPS shipping links, and blueprints is preferred. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50lbs repeatedly, and be able to use Microsoft Office for email and reporting. Must also be able to use company billing and shipping programs.
Field Tech Requirements:
Position Requirements
Applicant must be able to work independently at a customer jobsite. Must be able to travel to customer jobsites throughout the work week. Must be able to lift, stand, bend, and rotate repeatedly. Overnight travel may be required at times. Prefer experience as a machinist or mechanic as well as welding and forklift experience. Ability to read blueprints a plus.
