Image auto sales is now accepting resumes to fill the position of Business Office Manager for our growing dealership.
Responsibilities
Requirements:
The ideal candidates should have experience in the automotive industry specifically as an office manager/accounting with the ability to take instructions, willingness to learn new things, the flexibility and will to work in a busy environment with a team of office personnel. He or she must also be detail-oriented, good with numbers and proficient with DMS accounting software and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Dealertrack is preferred.
Qualifications
Managing office staff, accounting and finance functions
Ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards
Hiring, training & supervision of office personnel
Organization & implementation of all accounting, office operations and procedures
Oversees the payoff of vehicle floor plan
Various other automotive dealership office functions or comparable accounting experience
Maintains an orderly accounting system
Maintains accounts payable/receivable
Completes periodic bank reconciliations
Manages all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, reports, etc.) when needed
Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
Input appropriate information regarding new automobiles on computer system
Prepare tax and title documents
Submit all legal transfer documents to the DMV
Prepare stock cards and used vehicles
Receive and process paperwork from the F&I department
Prepare payoff checks for trade-ins
Post vehicle sales and purchases
Input inventory control information
Register extended service policy contracts
Prepare trade-in vehicle jackets
Other duties as assigned

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
