Classical Ballet Teacher
Job Description
We are looking to hire a male teacher AND a female teacher to fill the needs of our growth
Responsibilities
Teach classical ballet to dancers ages 3 to adult, at levels from beginning through advanced pointe
Instructor will be responsible for teaching classical ballet and choreographing dances for assigned classes. Our studio is located in West Jordan and is open Monday-Friday with Saturday rehearsals in the spring in preparation for our June performance. All of our students perform in a full length classical story ballet in June.
Qualifications
Must have previous teaching experience and be able to provide references from past studios.
College or professional training preferred but equivalent experience in teaching will be considered.
Must have past or current experience dancing on pointe and be fluent in classical ballet terminology.
Pay will be dependent upon qualifications $10-$20 per hour
Be prepared to demonstrate teaching abilities by audition as you teach a pointe class to our students

Our studio specializes in classical ballet only
Our method is Cecchetti based but we are open to other classical methods
We have a successful boys and men's program and a weekly partnering class.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
