Machinery Mover / Rigger

Responsible for ensuring that machinery is rigged in and assembled accurately, cost-effectively and within the guidelines of customer and company safety standards. Works with crews of 1-5 people and receives instructions, guidance, and assistance from the superintendent on all projects, contributes to completion of the project, sets and meets all expectations with the customer.
ATLAS Rigging and Transfer requires very flexible and highly cooperative personnel to perform following tasks:
- Machinery Mover / Rigger (Mechanical Background)
- Operate Forklifts in both a warehouse and industrial setting
- Familiarization forklift and crane signal requirements (completion of rigging/signal training and certification required)
- Perform carpentry and industrial millwright jobs, as individuals and as part of a team.
- Perform any other job, as required by the company.
- Ability to Travel regularly if required
CERTIFICATES & LICENSES: Clean MVR, DOT Medical Card, OSHA Forklift and Mobile
Equipment Certifications. CDL Class A a plus.
OTHER PREFERRED SKILLS:
Carpentry: Ability to use circular, cutoff, and panel saws, Measure accurately, use a nail and staple guns, Cut panels of ply wood and OSB, etc.
Millwright (Mechanical Background): If the candidate also has experience in the following then it will be a plus: Welding, Soldering, Torches, Cutters, etc.
