51 an hour 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago The Department of Workforce Services (DWS) is seeking an Assistant Division Director for the Office of Child Care (OCC).
You will help determine objectives, priorities and consistency standards throughout the state for child care programs and services.
Under the direction of the OCC director, you will also allocate resources, evaluate program performance, and participate in policy, training and strategic planning for all OCC programs.
Principal Duties The Assistant Division Director will perform the following duties under the direction of the OCC Director:
Project management, set goals, establish priorities, manage resources, develop concept approaches, review progress, measure results and make management decisions.
Supervise subordinate personnel including:
hiring, determining workload, delegating assignments, training, monitoring, coaching, developing and evaluating performance and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions when necessary.
Act as a facilitator in problem solving situations; provide information to those seeking assistance and suggest alternatives or solutions and assist others in solving problems.
Identify measures or indicators of program performance and the actions needed to improve or correct, relative to the established goals.
Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Present program information and outcomes to management, various public officials, senior professionals or community partners.
Communicate information to both internal and external partners through written reports, strategic plans, correspondence and presentations.
Meet and confer with management, staff, contract providers, other state agencies, and community partners to resolve problems and coordinate services.
Analyze program outcomes and provide recommendations and/or findings.
Participate in developing budgets including fund allocation, revenue collection, budget projection and expenditures.
The Ideal Candidate A combination of work experience and education will be considered.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has:
At least 2 years of experience with OCC child care programs, including the child care subsidy program.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
Experience with performance based outcomes such as Results Based Accountability or Key Performance Indicators.
Prior experience managing programs, grants, contracts, and budgets.
The ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple projects within budget and allotted timeframes.
Experience using technology:
shared drives, cloud storing systems, web-based meeting platforms, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
Preference Preference may be given to a candidate who:
Has as a bachelor's degree in an early childhood program, education, project management, public administration, business administration, or another related field.
Has 2 years of work experience with DWS.
Has experience working in the eREP system.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
