Full-time Purpose of position:
Maintains and promotes a consistent corporate image throughout all West Ridge Academy programs, promotional materials, and events and solicit additional scholarship funds and other donations to help West Ridge Academy to fulfill its mission as a non-profit organization.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Serve as a key leadership team member and an active participant in making strategic decisions Develops and implements strategic marketing and sales plans Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online electronic media and direct mail Oversees marketing activities such as facility tours and conferences Develop and maintain referral sources for AAP kids Brand WRA and Bamboo programs through interfacing with local resources, hospitals, other programs Increase public outreach and referral sources, including insurance companies, schools, employers, church groups, etc.
Responsible for all fundraising and development activities through the solicitation of major gifts, federal and state grants, special events, and corporate and foundation support Works closely with the board of directors and supports board members as they take on a more active fundraising role Responsibility for development and execution of all proposals Writes and archives all proposals and grants Event planning for fundraising activities Monitors donor information Provides and presents statistical analysis to board and senior leaders Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to work within a leadership team setting Great verbal communication & writing skills Ability to access and connect with community members and key donors who may be interested in participating West Ridge Academy's mission Required Skills/Abilities:
Verbal and written communication skills.
Compassionate and empathetic with a strong ability to establish and build trust.
Excellent listening skills.
Ability to remain calm and reassuring in tense situations and to de-escalate arguments.
Ability to build relationships while maintaining proper boundaries with staff and students Ability to address issues of concern with staff and students Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting, listening, and observing.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
Regular reliable attendance.
Must be able to remain alert during your assigned shift Must be able to perform work at West Ridge Academy's main office/Campus.
